In the first part we start with a migration strategy. Then we cover installation issues related to WebSphere for z/OS V5 Network Deployment, introduce a naming standard, and show how to roll out WebSphere V5 in a sysplex. After that we deal with systems management, as it is different from Version 4.0.1.

In the second part we cover application migration issues. First we roll out an application in the V5 sysplex environment, then we explain migration issues related to Version 3.5 and later V4.0.1.
