Engaging and challenging students to take ownership of their learning is the principal focus of this workshop. Participants will engage in a dynamic and practical workshop that aims to develop a systemic approach to fostering a new Ensemble. By encouraging students to recognize and embrace their strengths and celebrate those abilities with their classmates, students gain an appreciation of the ensemble theatre learning environment, and skills they extend beyond the drama room.
The power of Non-verbal work, the students can see by taking away words you can't say 'NO' to an idea because you're physically working in space, you just get up and do. Look at what you all created with a limited rehearsal time of five minutes, if you're using words you would need a lot more time before you got up off the floor and started physically working and that's if everyone was agreeable to the planned idea.
