I initially created "The Independent Therapist Planner" as a gesture of kindness for a group of therapist I had gotten to know online. Little did I know that it would become an overnight hit! People began asking me to create a hardcopy version of it that they could buy, ready to go.

Having never found a planner that had everything I needed as a therapist, I decided to create my own. I had been hearing other therapists voice the same issue - no timeslots set up for their non-traditional schedules, having to figure out where to make notes of things they'll need on a regular basis (but are difficult to keep straight in our head!), like license and NPI numbers, diagnostic and billing codes - there just wasn't a planner out there that "fit."

This planner is the culmination of my initial idea and the feedback from other therapist who were willing to check it out before the final project was complete. I am ever grateful for their feedback and (gentle) criticisms, because I believe that has made this THE perfect planner for therapists!
