Teacher planners can be beneficial, but they often miss the most important aspects, like a place to record IEP info and grades. They also tend to be quite cheesy. The author of Teacher Misery sought to create a practical, simple academic planner filled with her particular brand of sarcasm and dark humor. Each 2-page monthly spread (July 2023 through July 2024) contains an overview of the month with a sarcastic quote. The weekly spreads include space to write your lesson plans for each subject (up to 7) for the entire week and a place to write notes or complaints. Plenty of grade book pages and places exist to record IEP and medical info, student birthdates, parent contact info/records, and passwords.After each month is a fun article, activity, or poster, such as Faculty Meeting Bingo, a pros and cons list for quitting at the end of the year with ideas for new careers, a teacher band name generator, and even a personal letter from the author. This is not a planner for the perfect Pinterest teacher. This is for the jaded, burnt-out teachers who need a damn laugh wherever they can get it! And this year's theme is '80s/'90s nostalgia! Get ready for a blast from the past with DJ Tanner and Urkel!
