generation, and execution of application programs. During
development and generation, other product functions, such as
database environments, shared files, and CICS environments,
are used. The development environment for VisualGen is
LAN-based and as such requires that a development process for
VisualGen, focused on library management, be defined.

and other products, such as DB2/2, CICS OS/2, and LAN Server.

environment are described.
