Voice-based applications have become increasingly popular as a means to access data and applications. Advances in the interfaces between digital data and voice have led to the increased use of this technology in accessing traditional personal and business applications. Voice-based applications are those that allow the customer to select menu items or enter entry fields using a normal telephone.
