When my handsome husband died unexpectedly, I felt alone on a wide ocean with no shore in sight. I looked for books to help me navigate, but the lifelines I searched for were not there. There were many stories of loss and the numerous ways people died, but little advice or ideas on what to expect or DO when faced with grief and living with your changed circumstances.

I created these Widow Truth cards to help me on my own grief journey and share them here in hope to alleviate a bit of suffering. If you find yourself on this path or know someone who is, please know that dealing squarely with the death of a spouse is powerful healing and goes a long way toward embracing and accepting a new life.
