Our publishing policy is that the content must not contain material that includes copyrights, trademark rights, trade secret rights, unlawful, obscene, defamatory, pornographic, harassing, threatening, harmful, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory, or otherwise objectionable.
Book title, cover and content may not contain suggestive or gratuitous nudity, or sexually explicit posing, no graphic descriptions, no excessive or gratuitous profanity.
Vervante reserves the right to refuse publication services that Vervante, in its sole discretion, deems in violation of our publishing policy.

Searching is simple. You can shop for specific content by customer, or search our entire collection by entering a few words, title, author or ISBN into the search box on our home page and we will show you all of the products that match.

The availability estimate on each item's product information page refers only to how long it will take us to acquire the item once you place your order. It does not include the time your order will take to reach you once we ship it. Shipping time depends upon the shipping option you choose.
Documentation, technical papers, books and some software offered from Vervante are printed or produced on demand. Most products ship within 3-5 days. However, some products may take up to 5 days to print and ship. Occasionally we offer products that are not yet released. We post the expected shipment date on the product information page. We make every effort to ship all products as soon as possible.

We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Diner's Club. Corporate account customers may also apply for a credit account with us so that they may pay online by purchase order. Please contact us for more information. Company purchase orders can be faxed to us at 650-745-1141.

We will gladly replace or refund defective or damaged products. If you purchased a product from one of our authors and Vervante did not process the credit card transaction, you should check with the author first on their return policy. If we receive a return for a product not sold by Vervante, but produced and shipped on behalf of one of our authors, we will notify the author of the return.
Please include a copy of your packing slip and ship the product to the returns address located at the bottom of your packing slip.

UPS
You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from Vervante, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
Generally, customs forms for international packages will list the value of your order's contents by product type.
Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
Also, we may provide certain order, shipment and product information, such as titles, to our international carriers, and the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws may communicate such information.
