Simple, yet beautiful bookbinding with visual appeal.

Center sewn, also known as Singer sewn, bookbinding has a hand-bound like quality since there are no adhesives or staples. Similar to saddle-stitching, this binding uses an industrial sewing machine to stitch the book cover and pages together. There is a visible and continuous line of sewing along the spine. Different colored thread can be used to either contrast or blend with your cover design.

Advantages of Sewn Bookbinding

  • Sewn books tend to be more secure than saddle-stitch due to the number of stiches down the spine.
  • Simple, yet stylish way to bind your booklet.
  • Booklet lays flat.
  • Covers can be a printed softcover or soft faux leather.
  • Various thread colors available.
