Custom Oracle, Tarot & Affirmation Card Printing

Handcrafted in the USA for spiritual practitioners, wellness coaches, authors, and artists

This page covers our spiritual and daily-practice deck offerings. For coaching, training, and educational decks, see our Coaching, Educational & Flashcards page. For everything we print, visit our Custom Card Deck Printing page.

Oracle, tarot, and affirmation cards have grown into one of the most meaningful physical products creators can sell. Customers love them because cards invite presence and ritual. Pulling a card slows people down, creates a moment of reflection, and turns abstract guidance into something they can hold.

For 25 years, Vervante has been helping spiritual practitioners, wellness coaches, authors, and artists print custom decks that match the depth of their work. Every deck is handcrafted in the USA from your print-ready files, with low minimums starting at 25 decks and full warehousing and fulfillment so you can focus on selling, not managing inventory.

Types of Decks We Print in This Category

Oracle Decks

Oracle decks are one of the most flexible deck formats. They are not bound to a traditional structure, which means you have complete freedom over card count, themes, and how customers use the deck. Most oracle decks run between 36 and 64 cards, with unique artwork on every card and a companion guidebook that explains the meaning of each.

Oracle decks are popular with wellness practitioners building daily practice products, spiritual creators producing guidance decks built around their teachings, and artists releasing illustrated decks as standalone products. We print oracle decks in any size, with any cover treatment, and pair them with companion booklets or guidebooks that ship together as one product.

A wellness coach launched her first oracle deck with a print run of 25 decks packaged in organza drawstring bags. As her audience grew, she scaled to 250 decks, then to a run of 1,000. She still uses the same packaging because it became part of her brand.

Tarot Decks

Traditional tarot decks follow a 78-card structure with Major and Minor Arcana, typically printed at the classic 2.75" x 4.75" tarot size. Within that structure, the creative possibilities are wide open. We print tarot decks in any quantity from a 25-deck starter run to full retail production runs, with any cover material, packaging option, and finishing detail you want.

Tarot decks tend to appeal to creators with developed artistic visions, illustrators producing fully painted or printed decks, and authors releasing tarot alongside companion books. We can print decks with traditional rectangular cards, square corners, custom shapes, foil-stamped tuck boxes, and rigid presentation boxes.

A tarot artist self-published her first 78-card deck through Vervante after running a Kickstarter campaign. The campaign funded a print run of 500 decks with a custom printed tuck box and companion guidebook, all warehoused and shipped on her behalf as orders came in.

Affirmation Cards

Affirmation decks deliver short, uplifting messages designed for daily practice. They are one of the fastest-growing deck categories and one of the most accessible products for wellness coaches, course creators, and lifestyle brands to add to a product line. Affirmation decks typically range from 30 to 60 cards and pair naturally with a companion booklet, a journal, or a planner that reinforces the daily practice.

The format is flexible. Some creators use a single uplifting word on each card. Others build out fully designed cards with a phrase, a prompt, and a meditation. The right approach is the one that fits your audience and your brand. We print affirmation decks at every quantity, from small batch launches to full retail runs, and can produce them in standard sizes or larger formats designed for desk practice and display.

A life coach created a 50-card affirmation deck to sell alongside her group coaching program. She started with 100 decks for her existing client base, used them as a tool inside her live workshops, and reordered three times in the first year as her program expanded.

Whatever kind of deck you are creating in this category, the production process is the same. Choose your card stock, choose your size and shape, choose your packaging, and we handle the rest.

How These Decks Are Used

Oracle, tarot, and affirmation decks share something important: they are physical products customers reach for as part of a ritual or routine. That distinguishes them from coaching cards or educational decks, which are typically used inside a program or training context.

This audience uses cards in a few consistent ways:

  • Daily card draw. Customers pull a single card each morning or evening as a reflection prompt, an intuitive guide, or an affirmation for the day.
  • Spread-based practice. Particularly common with tarot, where customers lay multiple cards in a pattern to read meaning across them.
  • Coaching and session work. Practitioners use decks with clients or in group settings as a tool for reflection and conversation.
  • Gift markets. Especially affirmation decks, which sell well as gifts for self-care, wellness, and lifestyle audiences.
  • Companion to a larger product. Many creators sell their deck alongside a book, course, planner, or program where the deck deepens the customer experience.

Understanding how customers will use your deck shapes every other decision, from card count and size to packaging and price point.

Card Stock, Sizes & Custom Shapes

Card stock and size choices for spiritual and daily-practice decks tend to favor a substantial feel in hand. Customers handle these decks intentionally and frequently, and the right weight and finish make a real difference in the experience.

Most oracle and affirmation decks work well on our 12 pt or 16 pt card stock, which is the popular middle ground between value and feel. For premium positioning or decks designed for heavy daily use, our 18 pt stock offers the heaviest, most substantial card we produce. We can also produce decks in custom sizes, rounded or square corners, circular cards, ovals, and other die-cut shapes for creators who want their deck to stand out as a visual product.

Packaging

Packaging is where oracle, tarot, and affirmation decks earn their perceived value and become photograph-worthy products. The right packaging shapes how customers receive the deck, how they store it, and how they share it on social media.

Companion Products for Oracle, Tarot & Affirmation Decks

One of the most natural extensions for any deck in this category is a companion guidebook or small book. A booklet that explains the cards, deepens the customer experience, and supports a higher price point for the deck. Many of our customers in this category produce a guidebook alongside their deck and ship them together as one product.

Vervante is one of the few printers that produces small-batch booklets at low quantities, which means you can pair a 64-card oracle deck with a 32-page guidebook even at a 25-deck launch quantity. Other complementary products that work well with this category:

Once your decks are printed, we can store them in our secure Utah warehouse and ship individual customer orders directly to your customers as orders come in, with your branding on the package. Most of our customers in this category sell from their own websites, Etsy, or at live events and retreats. We handle the fulfillment so you can focus on your practice, your audience, and creating your next product.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum order for an oracle, tarot, or affirmation deck?
We can produce single decks on demand, but we recommend a minimum of 25 decks to keep your unit cost manageable. Smaller runs have noticeably higher per-deck pricing. Most overseas printers require 200 to 500 decks. Custom printed tuck boxes have a minimum order of 50.

How many cards should be in my oracle or affirmation deck?
There is no fixed rule for oracle and affirmation decks. Most oracle decks run between 36 and 64 cards. Affirmation decks typically range from 30 to 60. Tarot decks follow the traditional 78-card structure with Major and Minor Arcana. Choose the count that fits your content and your customer's experience.

Can I include a guidebook or booklet with my deck?
Yes. We are one of the few printers that produces small-batch booklets and pocket size books at low quantities, which means you can pair your deck with a companion guidebook even at a 25-deck launch quantity. We can package the booklet together with the deck so it ships as one product.

What card sizes work best for oracle and tarot decks?
Tarot decks traditionally use the 2.75" x 4.75" size. Oracle decks have no fixed standard, but 3.5" x 5" is common because it gives more room for artwork and feels substantial in hand. Affirmation decks work well at standard tarot or oracle sizes, or larger formats around 4" x 6" if the deck is designed for desk practice or display. We can produce any custom size you specify.

Can each card in the deck have completely different artwork?
Yes. Every card can have completely different artwork on both the front and back. There is no limit to the number of unique designs in your deck.

Where are your decks printed?
Every Vervante deck is handcrafted right here in the USA at our Utah facility. We do not outsource production overseas. This gives us tighter quality control, faster turnaround, and the ability to talk directly with the team printing your deck.

How long does production take?
Production time depends on your packaging choice. Decks in generic packaging like organza drawstring bags, poly envelopes, or clear plastic tuck boxes can typically be produced and shipped within 5 to 10 business days. Decks in custom printed packaging like custom printed tuck boxes or 2-piece rigid boxes take approximately 4 weeks (20 business days).

Do you store and ship decks for me?
Yes. We store your printed decks in our secure Utah warehouse and ship individual customer orders directly to your customers as orders come in. Whether you sell from your own website, Etsy, or at live events, we handle the fulfillment so you do not have to.

Do you offer design services?
Vervante provides print specifications, and templates for many of our products, so you or your designer can set up files correctly. View our Print Specifications and Templates here.

Can I order a printed proof before placing my full order?
Yes. We strongly recommend ordering a printed proof of your specific deck before committing to a full print run. A printed proof is a physical copy of your actual deck and lets you check the cards, the packaging, and the overall production quality before scaling up.
