Two ways to bring your book, planner, or card deck to your readers. Here is how to choose the one that fits where you are.

One of the most common questions we hear sounds like a pricing question, but it is really a fulfillment question. Someone asks for a print on demand quote because they believe their only two options are printing one copy at a time or printing a large quantity and storing it themselves.
There is a third path, and for many creators it is the one that fits best. You can print a batch of your product, let us hold it in our facility, and ship copies to your customers as orders arrive. You get a lower cost per copy than single-unit printing, and you never touch a box. This page explains both approaches so you can choose with confidence.
The Two Ways to Print
Print on demand means a single copy is produced when an order comes in, then shipped directly to your customer. Nothing is printed ahead of time, and nothing is held in storage. It is simple, and it carries no upfront print cost.
Print and fulfill means you print a batch of copies up front. We store that inventory in our facility and ship individual orders to your customers as they come in. Your cost per copy is lower because multiple products are produced at once, and you still avoid the work of packing and mailing every order yourself.
Both approaches ship on demand. The real difference is when the printing happens and how your cost per copy is calculated.
How Print and Fulfill Works
This is the part many creators do not realize is available. When you print a batch with us, your inventory can live in our warehouse. As we receive orders, whether from your own website, a live event follow-up, a launch, or a course platform, we pick, pack, and ship each one for you. You are not driving to the post office or storing boxes in a spare room.
One of our customers started with 25 card decks in organza bags to test an idea at a workshop. When the response was strong, she printed 250 for a coaching program, and later 1,000 as her audience grew. At every stage, we printed the batch, held the inventory, and shipped orders as they came in. Her cost per deck dropped as her quantities rose, and she never handled fulfillment herself.

Neither approach is better in every case. The right choice depends on where you are with your product.
Print on demand fits when you want to protect your upfront cash
There is no upfront print cost. You pay as each copy sells, which makes this a good fit when you are testing a new idea, when demand is hard to predict, or when you want to keep your initial outlay as low as possible. The tradeoff is a higher cost per copy, since each one is produced individually.
Print and fulfill fits when you want to protect your per-copy margin
Producing multiple copies in a batch lowers your per-unit cost. The tradeoffs are an upfront print cost and a storage fee while your inventory is held, which varies by the size of your item. This approach tends to fit creators who have steady or growing demand, who sell at events or through a program, or who want the strongest margin on each sale.
A simple way to think about it: print-on-demand protects your upfront cash, and print-and-fulfill protects your per-unit margin. Many creators begin with one and move to the other as their sales become more predictable.

UV coating is available on demand, with no minimum at all. We can UV coat cards as well as covers, in gloss or matte, on one side or both, so even a single copy can have a finished surface.

Turnaround depends on the product. Softcover and print-on-demand orders typically produce in 3 to 5 business days, and hardcover orders typically produce in 15 to 20 business days. Once your inventory is in stock, fulfillment orders ship quickly as they arrive.
Do you charge storage fees?
